Placement Terms and Agreement
Finding a senior living option for a loved one who needs care can be complicated and stressful, and it’s difficult for most families to find all of their options without a guide. There are many different assisted living, independent living, and memory care communities in San Luis Obispo County, and they all have their advantages and disadvantages. To have the most success in the process, families need an experienced local guide to help make a good decision. We make it easy.
San Luis Obispo Caregivers, A Referral Agency, offers placement services to seniors and their families free of charge. We are compensated by the communities or residential care homes when the senior moves to a community. It does not affect the price of the room or care. We usually accompany a family member on tour to represent you and help you understand all that the community offers. We ask the right questions and give you our “insider” knowledge.
Use caution if using online referral companies in your search.
· Online “referral agencies” are internet lead-generating companies.
· They have been known to collect your information and sell it to other businesses.
· State guidelines do not currently regulate these companies.
By agreeing to the following terms of our services, you are acknowledging:
1. San Luis Obispo Caregivers, A referral Agency’s staff, is your “agent” and will represent you in this search until a solution has been found or this agreement terminated by the client or San Luis Obispo Caregivers, A Referral Agency’s staff.
2. You understand and acknowledge that we are using our time and resources to help you find a senior living option for your family. You will not directly contact other placement agencies, communities, or homes on your own without first discussing it with us.
3. You will not go online and fill out any forms to get information regarding senior living.
If you decide to discontinue working with San Luis Obispo Caregivers, A referral Agency you will notify them immediately by phone or email of that decision; San Luis Obispo Caregivers, A Referral Agency may discontinue this agreement if we feel we cannot help in the capacity needed.
